How to get a sylveon quick in pokémon x and y

After hands-on experience with Pokemon-Amie in Pokémon X, and evolving Eevee into Sylveon, I can tell you exactly how it is done. The Pokemon-Amie system also has other perks in battle, which I will detail later. First, let’s talk about how to get the new fairy-type Eevee, Sylveon.

How to Evolve Eevee into Sylveon

Sylveon was the first Fairy-type Pokémon to be revealed, even before the Fairy type was officially announced. Here is the info straight from the Pokémon X pokedex,

No. 085: Sylveon. Intertwining Pokemon. Type: Fairy. Height: 3’03” Weight: 51.8 lbs. It sends a soothing aura from its ribbonlike feelers to calm fights.

Now that you know a little about Sylveon, let me explain how to obtain it.

First, you want to catch an Eevee, which you can do on route 10. This comes right after defeating the Second Gym leader in Cyllage City. I would recommend catching one at level 19, because it will have the Fairy move Baby-doll Eyes. One of the requirements to evolve into Sylveon is to have a Fairy-type move on Eevee.

Now that you have your Eevee, start up Pokémon-Amie, make sure you have at least three Pokémon in good health, and select Eevee as your Pokemon.

If you look at the screen when you select switch, you will see three meters. They are Affection, Fullness, and Enjoyment. All three of these need to be maxed to evolve into Sylveon. Now, tap on Eevee and select play. Start by petting your Eevee a few times, then tap the music note icon in the top right, this will bring up mini-games.

There are three to choose from, and they raise your Pokémon’s enjoyment meter. They also reward you with Puffs, which you feed your Pokemon to increase both its fullness and affection meters. I suggest trying to complete each level of the three mini-games, then repeatedly play whichever you’re best at. The higher score you get, the better Puffs you receive.

Keep switching between petting, playing mini-games, and feeding Eevee until all three meters are maxed. This took me around an hour to complete. After you’ve done that, and you have a Fairy-type move on Eevee, just level Eevee up and it will evolve into Sylveon.

The Benefits of Pokemon-Amie

There are several benefits in battle your Pokémon will get for raising its affection to max in Pokémon-Amie. So far I’ve noticed that you get more experience than other Pokemon. It has the chance to survive a one-hit KO, higher critical-hit ratio, can dodge attacks occasionally, can rid itself of paralysis, and possibly others that I have not seen yet. If this can happen in online battles, then using Pokemon-Amie will definitely be worth it.

You can give your Pokémon a high-five.

Have you found any other extra benefits from the Pokemon-Amie system? Have you obtained Sylveon? Discuss in the comments.

How to get a sylveon quick in pokémon x and y

The world of Kalos in Pokemon X and Y is a vast landscape with secrets at every turn. If you’re a completist, then you’ll no doubt be aware that Generation VI includes an all-new eeveelution.

But with all this talk of Mega Evolutions, Legendary Pokemon, and the re-emergence of first-gen starters, it’s easy to forget all about everyone’s favourite fox / tanooki / dog hybrid Eevee, and the joy that comes from catching ’em all and evolving them from scratch.

  • How to catch and evolve every eeveelution in Pokemon Sword and Shield

Without further ado, then, here’s the Pocket Gamer guide to catching and evolving every eeveelution in Pokemon X and Y.

How to get a sylveon quick in pokémon x and y

First things first, if you’re planning on collecting all of the Eevee evolutions available in X and Y, you’re going to need a skulk of Eevees. Nine, to be precise.

You’ve got two options when it comes to capturing Eevees. The first option involves your heading north out of Cyllage City, then venturing along Route 10, past the first set of yellow flowers. There, you’ll find another set of the same yellow flowers located near a lady with black hair, dressed in green.

Or head on farther up the path to a stone-filled area. Either of these areas will – eventually – spawn an Eevee. Weaken it, then capture it.

If you’re heading down the catching route, don’t forget to activate the O-Powers “Capture Power” and “Encounter Power” to save yourself a bit of time when encountering wild Pokemon.

The second option, if spamming the same area over and over sounds too repetitive for you, involves breeding. Capture a male and female Eevee from the area mentioned above – or capture an Eevee and capture a Ditto from the Pokemon Sanctuary in the Winding Wood, then use the Ditto to simulate the opposite sex – and leave the two in the Pokemon Day Care centre located along Route 7.

Eventually, the couple will make an egg. Once this happens, carry the egg around on your travels and it’ll hatch, yielding you one newly born Eevee. Then, it’s just a case of repeating the process until you’ve got enough Eevees to complete all the evolutions.

It’s worth noting the following, though: although this method is easier, it’s also much more time consuming.

How to get a sylveon quick in pokémon x and y

By now, you should have more Eevees than you know what to do with, so let’s get evolving.

The first eeveelution we’re going after is Jolteon, seeing as the stone needed to evolve it is only a few feet from where you captured your first Eevee.

Carry on along Route 10 until you come to the aforementioned rock-filled area. This section is made up of three areas, each of which is separated by a knee-high wall. Head forth until you hit the second wall. From there, head left along the southside of the wall until you hit a Pokeball.

Bingo! You’ve found your thunderstone. Now, head into your bag and use the thunderstone on Eevee, and you’ve got yourself a Jolteon.

Espeon and Umbreon

How to get a sylveon quick in pokémon x and y

Put simply, Umbreon and Espeon are as different as night and day. quite literally.

To evolve into these two, you’re going to have to treat your Eevee like a god. After putting it in your party, give it a soothe bell to hold. Anything you can think of to raise your Pokemon’s friendship (which is not to be confused with affection gained from Pokemon Amie), do so.

Once its friendship is maxed, level Eevee up in the daytime to make it evolve into Espeon or at night for Umbreon.

Flareon and Vaporeon

How to get a sylveon quick in pokémon x and y

You’ve got a few options with this one. You can either trek aimlessly in the hope of finding a fire and water stone. Or you could complete training regiments to be awarded different stones. Or you could take the easy way out and buy them from a shop.

Shockingly enough, we’ll be taking the easy route. Because, well, it’s easier.

Once all the areas are unlocked, head to Lumiose City and then to the South Boulevard district. From there, head to Vernal Avenue and enter the Stone Emporium shop (located opposite the high-end clothes store). Inside is a lady who will sell you a fire stone and a water stone for $2,100 a pop.

Then, it’s just a case of using the stones on your Eevees. Who says the easy route isn’t the best?

How to get a sylveon quick in pokémon x and y

First, you’ll need a Pokemon that can use the ‘surf’ move. Once you’ve grabbed one from storage, go to Dendemille Town and then leave via the bridge located in the north part of the town. You’ll find yourself in the snowy mountains on a path that leads to the Frost Cavern. To avoid constant battles, feel free to use a Max Repel.

Pass through the cave, heading upstairs through the doorway on the right. Make further progress and you’ll eventually find a small stream. Next, use surf to reach the other side of the stream. Follow the path around and head downstairs.

See that big glacier in the middle of the room? Well, that’s an ice rock. Run around until your Max Repel wears off, then level-up an Eevee while near to the rock. It’ll evolve into Glaceon upon completing a battle.

Or for the battle shy: use a rare candy while next to the rock to level-up Eevee without lifting a finger.

How to get a sylveon quick in pokémon x and y

Leafeon evolves the same way Glaceon does. albeit with a moss-covered rock instead.

Head south out of Snowbelle City along Route 20 and you’ll enter the ominous Winding Woods. Upon entering the first area, you’ll find a section covered in grass with a rock at the centre.

Touch the rock. Then, cause any attacking Pokemon to faint with an Eevee in your party. Hey presto: you’ll leave with a Leafeon. Simple as.

By far, Sylveon requires the most effort to evolve. But with great effort comes over-powered moves that’ll turn any battle in your favour.

Before you do anything, you’ll need an Eevee that knows a fairy type move. Either level an Eevee up until it learns one, or head to the move reminder, offer her a heart scale, and make her teach Eevee a low-level move like Baby Doll Eyes.

Now comes the long part – this takes about an hour. You want this Eevee to become your BFF, so it’s off to Pokemon Amie with you to max out its affection (the hearts bar). The quickest way to do this is: pet it, play a game, then feed it Poke Puffs until it’s full. Once you’ve done all that, repeat the process from the start.

Once its affection is full, head into a battle and level it up. The fairy move combined with full affection means it’ll evolve into the fairy type Sylveon.

If you're knee-deep in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y right now, we don't blame you, we are too. Both games come with a slew of new Pokémon, as well as exclusives to each version. And you can't have a new Pokémon game without a new Eevee evolution.

With the introduction of the new Fairy type Pokémon, it only makes sense that it ends up being Eevee's new evolution, Sylveon. Here is a handy guide on how to evolve your Eevee into Sylveon.

At its core, obtaining Sylveon lies directly with using the new Pokémon-amie system, where you can play with and pet your Pokémon, Nintendogs style. Sylveon's requirement is that the Affection stat is maxed at two hearts.

The first thing you want to make sure of is that your Eevee has a Fairy-type move. This is actually quite common, so just look out for a move called Baby-Doll Eyes. If the Eevee has this, you're ready for Step 2.

The three stats in Pokémon-amie are tied to three separate activities. Affection will raise from petting your Pokémon. Fullness fills up by feeding your Pokémon Poké Puffs. And lastly Happiness is raised by playing any of the three mini-games (which in turn grants you more Poké Puffs).

There is quite an easy way to do this all in about a half hour's time. First, make sure to unlock the Unlimited versions of the Fruit or Yarn Bounce mini-games, then you're set.

  1. Start off by petting your Eevee so it gives you hearts. When it starts to show a note, thats when you stop.
  2. Then you feed it various Poke Puffs. Make sure to look which ones give you the most amount of hearts and concentrate on feeding it those. Chocolate Puffs seem to make it the happiest.
  3. When it's full, head into an Unlimited version of one of those mini-games, either one is fine, just skip the Puzzle.
  4. Actually try to get a high score. Simply failing out of the game won't make Eevee hungry.
  5. After you're done playing it, your Eevee will want some more petting and it'll be hungry again, at which point, you start back at step 1 and rinse and repeat.

When its Affection is at max at two hearts, just go into some tall grass or eat a Rare Candy, have Eevee level up and enjoy your new Fairy-type Eevee evolution, Sylveon.

Espeon and Umbreon are certainly one of the more involved Eevee evolutions, since they require you to actually use Eevee in battle and keep them in your party for a while. This is because the only way Eevee evolves into either form is by strengthening the friendship between them and the Trainer.

There is a quicker way to get both Umbreon and Espeon that will still require you to use them in your party, but have your friendship grow at a quicker rate.

First make sure to catch two Eevees in Luxury Balls. You're given five of them through the main story quest. Alternatively, after you get access to the entirety of Lumiose city, go to Autumnal Avenue and there is a shop with a Pokeball sign. This shop sells all the special Pokeballs, including Luxury Balls, for 1,000 each.

The reason you want them to be in Luxury Balls is because their friendship level rises much quicker than in any other Pokeball.

After you successfully catch your Eevee (or two) in Luxury Balls, make sure to give it a Soothe Bell. This item further increases the level of friendship gained by having Eevee in your party, leveling it up and winning battles with it.

All it takes then is to go out and win a few battles. Eevee doesn't necessarily have to be involved, since EXP share will allow it to level as well, but you do get friendship easier if you actually use and win with Eevee. It took us around 10-12 levels for Eevee to gain full friendship and evolve.

Remember, to get Umbreon, you have to level Eevee up after 8PM and before 4AM. Alternatively, Espeon is attained by leveling up Eevee after 4AM and before 8PM. Basically one needs to level up at night, while the other during the day.

Buddy Hearts is essential for evolving a handful of valuable Pokemon. This guide will show players how to earn more Buddy Hearts fast in Pokemon Go.

Buddy Hearts need to be earned to evolve a handful of Pokemon in Pokemon Go. This guide will show players how to earn more Buddy Hearts faster in the game. With the release of Sylveon coming to Pokemon Go for the very first time, players are eager to earn as many buddy hearts as possible. In order to evolve Sylveon, players will need to earn a total of 70 hearts with their buddy Eevee. The trick is that it may take several days and time for players to earn all of these hearts. It’s also pretty easy to forget about your buddy when you’re a casual player. This guide will show players how they can earn more Buddy Hearts fast in the game.

Sylveon is a fan-favorite Pokemon in the series and is an exciting turning point for the mobile title. When Pokemon X and Y first released on the Nintendo 3DS, players were eager to get their hands on the first-ever Fairy-type Pokemon. It’s the newest Eevee evolution to join the roster and players have been so excited to finally get their hands on it. Sylveon can also be obtained if the player nicknames their Eevee “Kira” but this method can only be used once. Here is how players can earn more buddy hearts in Pokemon Go.

How To Earn Buddy Hearts Fast in Pokemon Go

Players can earn a total of 12-24 hearts per day if they play their cards right. Here are a few ways to earn hearts faster.

  • Poffins: This item can be purchased from the shop for 100 PokeCoins. Giving it to your buddy Pokemon will double the amount of hearts they can earn in a day.
  • Golden Razz Berries: Feed this to your buddy to instantly make it full. Saves a bit of time on earning hearts.
  • Battle Together: Go to the battle tab and set your buddy as one of the Pokemon in your party. Pair it up with other low CP Pokemon and head over to Master League and lose. The weak Pokemon will faint faster, allowing players to get through the battle hearts faster.

After a few days, players should have enough hearts to evolve the Pokemon they want. Hearts also provide smaller bonuses like your buddy finding gifts and assisting with captures. It is required for those looking to have their own Sylveon.

Pokemon Go is available now on iOS and Android.

Eevee is the most unique Pokemon having the capability to evolve. Since she was a baby, Eevee has come a long way. So, what makes it unique? When the Pokemon games first came out, Eevee was the only Pokemon with the ability to evolve. In classic Pokémon games, Eevee can evolve into a variety of types based on the use of special items, happiness level, moves available, and even the time of day. To evolve your Pokemon in Pokemon Go, you must give them appropriate Candy. It's 25 Candy for Eevee. Evolving Eevee in this manner will randomly transform it into Vaporeon, Jolteon, or Flareon.

In Pokemon Go, how do you evolve Eevee into Sylveon

As part of the Luminous Legends Y event, Sylveon was eventually released into Pokémon Go. If you want to evolve Eevee into Sylveon as quickly as possible, alter Eevee's name to Kira and make sure you have at least 25 Eevee Candy. This technique can only be used once.

Eevee can be developed into Sylveon by earning 70 Buddy hearts after using the naming trick, which requires your chosen Eevee to be at Great Buddy Level. Choosing your Buddy Pokémon will not cause your advancement towards Sylveon to be reset, so go ahead and do it.

Before clicking evolve, ensure the profile for Sylveon is on the evolve button; if it isn't, your Eevee may evolve into a different Eeveelution.

Sylveon was introduced in Generation VI (Image via Niantic)

Sylveon is the most recent and one of the most popular Eeveelutions in Pokemon GO. When the Fairy-type was introduced in Pokemon X and Y, this Fairy-type Eeveelution was introduced along with it.

Despite it being known as a cute companion, Sylveon also has huge attacking power. None of its stats are below 200 either, making this a great choice for trainers to evolve Eevee into.

Special evolution method for Fairy-type Pokemon

How to get a sylveon quick in pokémon x and y

There are two ways to evolve Eevee into Sylveon: one instantaneous method, and another that will take some time. If trainers want multiple Sylveons, they’re going to need to know both methods.

The first simply involves giving Eevee a special nickname. Any Eevee that gets nicknamed Kira will automatically evolve into Sylveon free of charge. Why Kira? Well, this nickname is a reference to Eevee users from the Alola region. These were nine trainers who each had an Eeveelution, and then one who used Sylveon was named Kira.

Each Eeveelution has their own corresponding nickname, which are as follows:

  • Vaporeon: Rainer
  • Jolteon: Sparky
  • Flareon: Pyro
  • Espeon: Sakura
  • Umbreon: Tamao
  • Glaceon: Rea
  • Leafeon: Linnea

Linnea and Rea were other members of the Eevee users from Alola. The rest, however, each used that specific Eeveelution in the anime.

The thing trainers need to remember about this method, though, is that it only works once per evolution. So, trainers can get one Sylveon out of this, but they can’t get a second.

For multiple Sylveons, trainers will need to use the second method, which involves grinding hearts. Eevee will evolve into Sylveon if the trainer makes Eevee their buddy and can feed them 70 hearts.

The eighth and final Eevee evolution has finally been added to Pokémon Go and while it can’t be caught there is a shortcut to getting it.

It’s an important moment for Pokémon Go this week, as it finally gets a complete collection of Eevee evolutions. But while getting hold of Sylveon isn’t supposed to be easy, it is if you know the trick.

Originally introduced in Pokémon X and Y (the Lumious Legends Y event is currently taking place in Pokémon Go), Sylveon is a fairy-type pokémon – and to prove it, it’s white and pink with ribbons and bows. In other words, industrial strength cute.

In the mainline console games you could only evolve one by having a high affection or friendship rating with an Eevee, but things work a little differently in Pokémon Go.

How to evolve Eevee into Sylveon in Pokémon Go

Pokémon Go has always handled evolution its own – until relevantly recently it didn’t have them at all – and for Eevee the original evolutions are supposed to be completely random.

Once you get the option to evolve Eevee, by spending 25 Eevee Candy, and press the button you have a random chance of it turning into Vaporeon, Jolteon or Flareon (the Gen I evolutions).

However, there is a sneaky trick where if you give your Eevee a specific name (based on characters from the cartoon) before you evolve it it’ll turn into a specific form.

Pokémon Go Eevee evolution secret names

Vaporeon = Rainer
Jolteon = Sparky
Flareon = Pyro
Espeon = Sakura
Umbreon = Tamao
Leafeon = Linnea
Glaceon = Rea
Sylveon = Kira

For Sylveon the name is ‘Kira’ but be aware that you can only use the nickname trick once per evolution, as after that you can never use it again on the same Pokémon Go account.

If you want to evolve another Sylveon after that you’ll need to collect 70 buddy hearts with an Eevee, so that your relationship is ranked as ‘Great Buddy’. Then just use 25 Eevee Candy in the normal fashion and it’ll evolve into a Sylveon.

We tell you how to capture Eevee and how to evolve it to Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon or Sylveon in the Hisui region.

Pokémon Legends Arceus is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch and incorporates many new features both mechanically and in the concept of the adventure. Evolution remains an inherent motto in the saga and, as it could not be otherwise, Eevee is one of the species available in Hisui, with each of its evolutions available. We tell you how to capture this iconic Pokémon and how to evolve it in each of its eight forms.

Where to find Eevee in Pokémon Legends Arceus?

Eevee can be found in several locations in Hisui, including space-time distortions. If Eevee does not appear in any of the locations below, just go back to the camp, go to sleep and try again. This will restart the spawns. These are the spawn points of Eevee in Pokémon Legends Arceus:

  • Obsidian Fieldlands: Horseshoe Plains
  • Alabaster Icelands: Avalugg’s Legacy
  • Alabaster Icelands: Avalanche Slopes
  • Cobalt Coastlands: Crossing Slope
  • Space-time distortions: in any of Hisui’s areas

How to evolve Eevee in Pokemon Legends Arceus?

Eevee has a total of eight evolutions, all available in Pokémon Legends Arceus, but with different evolutionary methods: Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon.

To get Jolteon (Electric type) in Hisui there are only two possible ways, through evolution or through direct capture.

  • Space-time distortion: Coronet Highlands
  • Evolving Eevee with Piedra Trueno.

Vaporeon (Water type) can also be obtained in two ways, through evolution or in a Space-time distortion, where we can see it in the wild.

  • Space-time distortion: Cobalt Coastlands
  • Evolving Eevee with a Water Stone.

Eevee’s Fire-type evolution presents us with two options: evolution or wild capture in distortions.

  • Space-time distortion: Crimson Mirelands
  • Evolving Eevee with Fire Stone.

One of Eevee’s preferred evolutions is Espeon (Psychic), which also has two alternatives: direct capture or evolution.

  • Space-time distortion: Alabaster Icelands
  • Evolving Eevee with a high level of friendship during the day without learned Fairy type move.

Espeon’s counterpart is Umbreon (Dark), with two possible ways to obtain it in Hisui: capture and evolution.

  • Space-time distortion:
  • Evolving Eevee with high level of friendship during the night without learned Fairy type move.

First introduced in the fourth generation, Glaceon (Ice) requires a little more work if we want to evolve it manually; it can also be found in distortions.

  • Space-time distortion: Alabaster Icelands
  • Evolving Eevee with Ice Stone or climbed on the Icy Rock of the Bonechill Wastes of the Alabaster Icelands.

Eevee’s Grass-type evolution, Leafeon, has an evolution method similar to that of Glaceon. We can either evolve it or find it directly in the distortions.

  • Space-time distortion: Obsidian Fieldlands
  • Evolving Eevee with Leaf Stone or climbed on the Moss Rock in the Obsidian Fieldlands, southwest of Tidewater Dam.

Eevee’s last discovered evolution is Sylveon, a fairy type. To capture it, it is essential that it knows a Fairy-type move (if not, it will evolve to Espeon or Umbreon). It can also be found in distortions.
