You said “It is now 1987” And then two points later, you talked about the Bite of ‘83. For some reason I don’t think the bite of ‘83 came in 1987.

Oof that was an editing error, will be fixed.

That makes a lot of sense actually. Good work!

This is a pretty smooth, cohesive timeline, well done!

Thank you so much for putting this together!

How does Michael age you said " he isnt anymore an young adult" implying that he aged how?

It's just that he's older now. Time's passed in the background so I thought I'd provide context.

Dang that's a long timeline.

It's FNAF, so it kind has to be long tbh

That like game theorys timeline

It's almost the exact same except for 1 major difference:

In MatPat's final timeline, he stated that The Bite of '83 took place before Charlie's death. That's not possible in my opinion, since the Midnight Motorist minigame takes place right after William kills her, and we see him go home to Michael having escaped his room to go to a place that is presumably Freddy's 2.

Hey just a minor thing but when Will lures the kids in, he lures in two then the last three, as explained by the fnaf 1 news clippings

Didn't know that. Thanks 🙂

You say that Elizabeth is killed at CB Pizza World, but then at number 8 u say that Michael Afton goes to Fredbear's Family Diner but is scared because of Elizabeth's disappearance which came after FFD, so how can he be scared if Elizabeth hasn't been clawed yet?

Huh. It's been a while since I've done any timeline work, but that's valid. Not sure how it ended up that way. Thanks for the advice.

Sorry that I'm making this like 4 months after you made this, but I'm in love with the timeline of this game and I found some mistakes, so here goes 🙂

The Second Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza opens in 1983. The Toy Animatronics are created as an additional security measure.

I assume you're talking about the FNAF 2 location? FNAF 2 takes place in early November of 1987. That location shut down just after Jeremy had finished his week. The ending newspaper stated "after being open only a few short weeks. " meaning that location had opened probably in October of 1987, not 1983.

Henry becomes worried that William may potentially try to kill his daughter, Charlie(Charlotte). He installs the Security Puppet at Fredbear’s Family Diner as a protection measure, but William manages to kill her outside the building.

At this point, Fredbear's had shut down for at least a few years. It had shut down due to bad publicity stemming from the bite of '83, therefore Fazbear Entertainment purchased their company. In FNAF 2 Phone Guy stated that they were going to try and contact the og restaurant owner from Fredbear's Family diner. He said they had been closed down for years. Also, Charlie was the first of William's victims. She died outside of the first Freddy's location.

begins rebuilding Michael as a realistic robot and infuses his body with remnant.

I thought this to be the case at one point as well, but it probably isn't what happened. Michael Afton was the older brother and the BV/CC was the younger brother.

Michael goes there to find out what happened to his sister, and sees what occurred. Sister Location takes place

Handunit states in FNAF SL that Circus Baby's Entertainment & Rental had gained success from FFP's success in the early 80's, and even more so after FFP closed for good in 1993. Meaning that FNAF SL took place just after FFP closed in 1993.

Other than that, great timeline! Some sections just need reshuffling, that's all 🙂

How to understand the five nights at freddy's timeline

Five Nights At Freddy’s is an American horror series that has captivated a massive audience since it’s original release in 2014. Starting out as a simple video game series with only a few basic controls, FNAF has since become a massive franchise spanning multiple games in different genres, books, spin-offs, and even a film in the works. Tackling this huge series without a guide can be tough, so we at THG are here to help you get started.

All FNAF Games Release Order

Five Nights At Freddy’s video game series spans over a whopping nine mainline titles, each one continuing the story of the game and in some way expanding on the gameplay mechanics of the previous. These games have been released over a period of 8 years, giving us a brand new Freddy title almost once year, and the franchise isn’t really showing any signs of slowing down.

How to understand the five nights at freddy's timeline

In order of release, the FNAF games are as follows;

  • Five Nights at Freddy’s (2014)
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 (2014)
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 (2015)
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 (2015)
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location (2016)
  • Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator (2017)
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted (2019)
  • FNAF: Special Delivery (2019)
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach (2021)

Playing the games in this order would certainly be a great way to experience them, and it’s the way many fans of the franchise have. However, the story of the games doesn’t match up to their release order, with some games adding new information as the story evolved over time. To experience the story in the most direct way, you’ll have to play these games in chronological order.

FNAF Games in Chronological Order

Scott Cawthon’s Five Nights At Freddy’s story is pretty complicated and not the easiest thing to take in. Each new game released included new details of the story, sometimes including retcons or additions to past information that completely changed the narrative. For story enthusiasts, experiencing the games in chronological order would be your best bet of taking the game’s lore in.

The FNAF games in chronological order are as follows;

  1. Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 – Originally meant to be the ending to the franchise, FNAF 4 takes place in 1983, and serves as a sort of disjointed prequel to the franchise. Without spoiling the story for you, this one is best experienced first if you want to experience FNAF’s story in order.
  2. FNAF 2 – Putting the player in the shoes of Jeremy Fitzgerald, this game takes place in 1987, years before the first game. This game sets up the core of the story, and is arguably the most important part of the series story wise.
  3. Five Nights at Freddy’s Sister Location – Sister Location sets up more of the history of the animatronics. It also expands on the story of a few important characters, and much of what is set up here you need to know to understand later games.
  4. FNAF – The original FNAF is short on lore, but chronologically fits best between Sister Location and FNAF 3.
  5. FNAF 3 – FNAF 3 takes place long after the closing of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. This game finally reveals the name of the antagonist of the series, and delves into their story.
  6. FreddyFazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator – It’s hard to talk about Pizzeria Simulator without spoiling the story of the entire franchise. This game serves as a solid ending point for the ‘first chapter’ of the story, and sets up for the next few games.
  7. Five Nights at Freddy’s Help Wanted
  8. Five Nights at Freddy’s: Special Delivery – Help Wanted and Special Delivery function as the setup to Security Breach, setting up the foundations of the game’s plot and marking the return of the series’ antagonist.
  9. FNAF: Security Breach – Both the newest game and the latest part of the story, Security Breach serves as a great bookend to the series with it’s hidden True Ending. While this game could easily mark the end of the franchise, a few other games did the same thing, so it can be assumed that more FNAF games are a possibility.

That’s everything you need to know to experience FNAF in order! If you found this guide helpful or are looking for more video game news and walkthroughs, check out our other Game Guides and leave us a comment below!

How to understand the five nights at freddy's timeline

Hello everyone,Sam again and today I’m making a timeline for the canon games,TSE,and FNaF world so I can explain how I see everything. Alright let’s start at the beginning of it all.

this is the game canon timeline.

Fredbear’s family diner,FNaF 4

Significant event: Bite of ’83

Circus Baby’s party rentals,FNaF:SL

significant event(s): Afton’s daughter is killed by Baby. William and Michael (in that order) get scooped.

*Game timeline over*

The Silver Eyes timeline

Fredbear’s family diner

Significant event: Sammy is kidnapped by someone. Theory says William as it was Spring Bonnie that took him.

Circus Baby’s party rentals(debatable. But likely)

significant event:William is scooped

Freddy Fazbear’s pizzeria, FNaF 1

Significant event:Michael is killed

Ten years later

Significant event(s):Charlie and friends meet again and go back to Freddy’s. Dave/William is killed in the spring Bonnie suit.

The Twisted ones

Significant event:Charlie is hunted by something and four dead bodies show up dragging her back to her father’s work

*TSE timeline over*

FNaF world timeline

Significant event(s):reality starts breaking and Scott can’t handle it. Henry activates Baby and she kills him.

And that’s everything. I’m not sure if this is coming before or after my theory about Henry so I’m not stating any specifics about it. Now the thing about TSE is that I already have to reread it for said theory so I really don’t want to jump back to the date which if I remember correctly should be 1995 which is after FNaF 1 in game which is why I have the question marks there. Now another thing to add is if this is prior to my theory then there’s possibly three Baby endoskeletons and if it’s post theory then I hope this clears up any dates.

OK this is prior to my theory post which explains the three Baby endoskeletons and I’ve been made aware that in her “jumpscare” at the end of the trailer she has yellow eyes not green.

Oooooooh boy, get ready for a game timeline so complicated it makes The Legend of Zelda look like a straight line. Also, there will be unmarked spoilers for the full story of Five Nights at Freddy’s, including many important plot twists, You Have Been Warned!

Fredbear’s and Freddy’s close down sometime after this incident, the former presumably due to this incident.

Later, Circus Baby’s Entertainment & Rental, an underground location, has hired the player character as the new after-hours technician. The player character, Michael Afton, nicknamed “Eggs Benedict” by HandUnit, the artificial intelligence who acts as a guide for the player, spends five nights working as the technician. At the end of night five, Michael has his insides scooped out to make room for Ennard, an amalgamation of the animatronics. Ennard leaves Michael’s corpse a week later, and Michael rises, still alive, thanks to the Remnant that the Scooper injected into him. This likely took place after his first shift as Fritz Smith but before his full week as Mike Schmidt. At some point, Baby is kicked out by the other souls possessing Ennard and rebuilds her old suit as Scrap Baby, while Ennard is apparently rebuilt as Molten Freddy. It is implied that the victims possessing the original animatronics are still not free because pieces of the suits went into the Funtime animatronics, presumably during William’s last day before becoming Springtrap as he took pieces of the dismantled suits; That, however, is yet to be confirmed.

The vengeful soul of Golden Freddy, begins torturing William in his nightmares, who has barely survived the fire thanks to the soul forcefully keeping him alive.

Scott himself said that, "Sometimes a timeline gets so full that the only way to tell a real story is have the story set in a different timeline, an alternate universe, a different location, or perhaps from a vantage point that isn’t entirely what it appears to be." Is it possible he was referring to any FNAF related franchise that came after FNAF 4? After all, it’s "Four games. One story."

Maybe Scott was simply trying to tell us that his new works of FNAF World and "The Silver Eyes" were technically canon in that they don’t affect the original story. And if that’s so, I’m willing to bet that every hint of lure in Sister Location fits in that category of "technically canon" as well. It would make sense, considering that Scott himself said that the original story was done after releasing FNAF 4.

If I had to guess, I’d say that we need to stop worrying about finding out the story behind Sister Location, and go back to our original stomping grounds from our theories from before FNAF 4, and start fresh. And with the latest findings by MatPat on "The Science Behind Five Nights 4" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leTOy75OD5w&t=3s) , we may just know where to start.

And with that being said, I have a theory about how the ORIGINAL timeline is supposed to go, based on a bit of *ahem* "research" I did watching Markiplier playing the entire franchise. First came Fredbear’s Family Diner in 1983. I say "1983" because of the clue on the TV in FNAF 4. The crying child is watching a show called "Fredbear and Friends," dated 1983. Does that mean that FNAF 4 took place that year? Not necessarily. For all we know, it could be a rerun; but it is an oddly specific detail. Maybe that’s our clue to the first murder? Plus, if we go back to the custom night menu of the original game and set the levels to match "1987," we get a quick flash of Golden Freddy’s face. If that doesn’t tell you that he caused the Bite of ’87, I don’t know what will.

"But wait. " I hear you smashing on your keyboards to completely trash this theory. "Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 took place during 1987. IT SAYS SO ON THE CHECKS. "

You are absolutely right! But does that mean that I’m wrong? Maybe the events of these two games are taking place simultaneously. Don’t believe me? Take a closer listen to the FNAF 3 night 4 phone call (which, may I remind you, are pre-recordings from FNAF 4):

First, notice he said, "sister location." That’s not a reference to Scott making the newest game, that’s taking about how the suits were unsafe to wear, and were moved to the other restaurant. Now, mind you, I know that seems to be jumping to conclusions, but this phone call from the sixth night in FNAF 2 is what convinced me. Pay attention:

Notice he never said that the "yellow suit" was worn, just "used." Maybe it was used to hide a body, hence the turf of hair we find in the Golden Freddy/Fredbear animatronic 1 day before the party. If the FNAF 4 crying kid pointed out the body when he was let out of that storage room, then I’m willing to bet that management tried to keep police from finding it, so they could reopen in later years. (Remember, the place was already in the process of being shut down.) This would explain why the phone guy asks Mike to check inside the suits in the first game.

Also in that FNAF 2 night 6 call, phone guy says, and I quote, "We have one more event scheduled for tomorrow, a-a birthday." That would perfectly line up with the party where the Bite of ’87 happened in FNAF 4.

With the place being reopened who knows how long after the bite, FNAF 1 comes into play, where I honestly have no idea what goes on during that time. Maybe MatPat can figure it out if he sees this. Anyway, that leaves FNAF 3 taking place after the FNAF 1 place is closed after, again, who knows how long.

But just to remind everyone, because I know that this was long as hell, IF I’m right in saying that "The Silver Eyes", FNAF WORLD, and Sister Location are in their own alternate timelines, then they DO NOT belong in the timeline I drew up. And to close this, my FNAF timeline theory is (by order of events):
1) Fredbear’s Family Diner
2) Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 & Five Nights at Freddy’s 2
3) Five Nights at Freddy’s 1
4) Five Nights at Freddy’s 3

Hope you guys enjoyed. Also, Scott and MatPat, let me know what you two think 😉

Five Nights at Freddy’s Mod Apk Free Apkfe.Com is an indie video game franchise of the survival horror genre produced, designed, developed and published by Scott Cawthon with Multimedia Fusion. But some of his games were made by companies called llumix and Steel Wool.

Explore the history of the Freddy’s world famous pizzeria in this bundle containing the original 4 titles.

in Five Nights at Freddy’s 1 you are welcomed to your new summer job at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, where kids and parents alike come for entertainment and food as far as the eye can see! The main attraction is Freddy Fazbear, of course; and his two friends. They are animatronic robots, programmed to please the crowds! The robots’ behavior has become somewhat unpredictable at night however, and it was much cheaper to hire you as a security guard than to find a repairman.

From your small office you must watch the security cameras carefully. You have a very limited amount of electricity that you’re allowed to use per night (corporate budget cuts, you know). That means when you run out of power for the night- no more security doors and no more lights! If something isn’t right- namely if Freddybear or his friends aren’t in their proper places, you must find them on the monitors and protect yourself if needed!

In Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, the old and aging animatronics are joined by a new cast of characters. They are kid-friendly, updated with the latest in facial recognition technology, tied into local criminal databases, and promise to put on a safe and entertaining show for kids and grown-ups alike!

Here’s a guide on all the FNAF games in a chronological as well as release date order.

How to understand the five nights at freddy's timeline

The entire FNAF series is a captivating experience with sudden surprises and in-depth lore. It is a quite complicated universe with not much of a concrete timeline for some games. The installments jump around time with hallucinations and visions that are canon to the universe. While most of the fandom have divided thoughts over the exact timeline of the storyline, here is our guide featuring all the Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF) games in chronological order and by release dates.

Five Nights at Freddy’s is an American survival-horror game that takes place around Freddy Fazbear’s pizzeria. The universe of FNAF is ever-expanding with games, novels, spin-offs, minigames, and a film adaptation planned in the future. It is all about survival and involves surviving several horrific animatronic beings throughout the series. The main antagonist of the entire series is William Afton who is a recurring character with several aliases.

How to understand the five nights at freddy's timelineArtist’s rendition of me consuming FNAF lore. I will never be the same. Illustration by Alyson Sutherland.

I have never once consumed any content related to the video game series “Five Nights At Freddy’s.” For this portion of the piece, that remains true. This introductory paragraph will act as a control, to see what I already know, so here goes.

The name Freddy Fazbear comes to mind, absorbed mostly through the internet. While I could not definitively place this name to a character, I would guess (based on the presence of the word “bear” in his name) that he is the animatronic(?) humanoid teddy bear with the bowler hat. Also from the internet, I know the name Vanessa, mostly from TikToks that have been reuploaded to Instagram Reels. Vanessa seems to be Freddy’s handler of some kind, based on the context given in the audio of the TikToks. Now to the content of the games themselves. I know they’re technically horror games, and I think they take place in a supermarket of some kind? I don’t know how many games there are, or when they came out, or anything else about them.

My research will be done on the modern day equivalent to the Library of Alexandria, YouTube. I don’t really know how long it will take to fully understand and immerse myself in the rich history of this game franchise, but I can only hope that this great quest leaves me enough time to make my deadline, because Kirsch has been on a rampage lately, and I really would like to remain Editor-In-Chief. If you are reading this, you can assume that I met the deadline, or at least was close enough. Any writing done after this will be as a changed man, perhaps even an evolved one, one who can now recite the lore of “Five Nights At Freddy’s” with machine-like accuracy and speed.

Alright. This is the most insane lore I have ever consumed. By far. There are levels to this. Firstly, the “Five Nights At Freddy’s” series is not just videogames, but is also made up of books, the main games, and several spinoff games. In the interest of simplicity, and my sanity, we will be keeping this summary to facts confirmed by canon, “main-timeline” games. There are seven of them, and release order is not the same as timeline order (it never is), so we will be working this in timeline order. In we go.

The first game in the timeline is “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4.” This game sets up some of the early lore, which includes the first child death at the hands of a poorly crafted animatronic in 1983. This incident starts the main series of events, and causes the closure of Fredbear’s Family Diner, the first venue to host the various murderous animatronics.

The next game in the timeline is largely agreed to be “Five Nights At Freddy’s: Sister Location,” the fifth game released. This game has you play as Michael Afton, the son of William Afton who you may know from making the killer animatronics referenced in the last paragraph. This game is where things get weird. Michael Afton is exploring a storage space which contains various animatronics that are now being used as part of an animatronics rental service, the surplus of which come from a sister location (get it?) of Fredbears Pizza. Through the course of the game, one of the animatronics lures Michael Afton to his death, but his corpse is repurposed by the skeleton of ANOTHER animatronic and is used as a sort of Trojan horse to allow the animatronics to leave the storage unit. Dear lord.

Now we arrive at the second game released, and the third in the timeline, “Five Nights At Freddy’s 2.” This one occurs in the Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, the second iteration of Fredbear’s Family Diner, and surely one that will have no child murders. You play as a security guard for the restaurant, and the checks you receive at the end of the game confirm the year as 1987. Thanks to a mysterious voice on the phone, you learn that there is an ongoing police investigation surrounding this restaurant, meaning that there are likely more child murders. This game also introduces the “Purple Man,” who is most likely William Afton (animatronic John Kramer), and who seems to have been killing children (we almost had no child murders) in Freddy Fazbears Pizza.

The next game in the timeline is the original “Five Nights At Freddy’s.” Common consensus is that this game takes place in 1993, and also in Freddy Fazbears Pizza. This game corroborates a lot of the lore discussed in the above paragraph. It also adds that some animatronics have been stuffing people inside themselves, and then those people die. This is corroborated by the fact that some animatronics have been smelling and oozing. I am a different man now.

If you’ve stuck around long enough, I hope that you’re a fan, or that you are okay. On to the final three. The fifth game in the timeline is “Five Nights At Freddy’s 3.” This game jumps in time to approximately 2023. You play as a security guard at a horror venue. You learn how to hop inside the suits and operate them, but are later discouraged from doing that after being shown, get ready for it, the ghosts of dead children (still with me?) cornering their murderer, presumably the John Kramer of animatronics, and forcing him to hop into one of the animatronic suits to defend himself. The suit then snaps closed, killing him. I wonder who wrote this game. I want to meet them. I hope they’re getting whatever help they might need.

Almost there. The next game (sixth in the timeline) is “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator.” Wouldn’t it be nice if this was a nice cooking simulator game like “Overcooked?” Wouldn’t that be a nice breath of fresh air? But we don’t get nice things here. Instead we get “Five Nights At Freddy’s” lore. This game has you outfitting a new location for Fazbear Entertainment, under the guise of a big party at the end of the week. After the last night, you are told that you were part of a plan to lure all of the existing animatronics to a central location and burn them. Then the whole building burns down. I’m out of breath.

Last one. Also the shortest one, because I don’t want to do this anymore. I feel like a protagonist in one of these games I have never played. This final game is the most recent one, “Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach.” This game has you playing as a child trapped in a new location, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Megaplex. This game has multiple endings, which as any Zelda fan will tell you, is ever so much fun, and only simplifies any attempt to track lore. I don’t want to spoil anything, because this is the newest game and only came out two months ago.

This stuff is wild. I think this might be the most I’ve written for this paper, and I don’t know how to feel. I won’t lie, I imagine there are factual inaccuracies, because this is work compiled by someone who hasn’t played any “Five Nights at Freddy’s” games or consumed any other media, but it certainly is my best god dang attempt. I’m gonna go sit on the edge of my bed totally motionless for three to five hours. Have a nice day.

Five Nights at Freddy's Series

Five Nights at Freddy’s is a cult video game with millions of fans across the world. Known to its followers as FNaF, the series is set in the restaurant Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. In the game, players work shifts as the security guard in a pizzeria run by creepy animatronic robots. The animatronics seem like model employees during the day but at night, their murderous intent becomes apparent and the horror begins.

The terrifying animatronics and dark plot have enthralled gamers and inspired many spin-offs including toys, a theme park attraction and a series of books as well, co-written by FNaF creator Scott Cawthorn along with author Kira Breed-Wrisely.

Book One The Silver Eyes starts 10 years after the murders at Freddy Fazbear’s when Charlie, the daughter of the restaurant owner, returns to Freddy’s on the anniversary of the tragedy with a group of friends, finding a whole new horror ready to unfold. The subsequent books follow the Five Nights at Freddy’s characters as they continue their quest for the truth of what happened at Fazbear’s – no matter how horrific.

The trilogy is a must for fans of the game but also for horror lovers. The chilling FNaF animatronics and grisly murders make them a terrifying read, best suited for teens and adults. You do not need to have played the game to enjoy the FNaF books which are packed full of suspense, but it is best to read the trilogy in order, so go ahead and get started!

Basically, I’m trying to find out the correct order of the FNAF games, including the book, which seems to be the last.

Since there are five games out now, a lot of timelines are obsolete and don’t include the FNAF Silver Eyes book.

We don’t know for certain the order as these are only theories but what we can deduce is that the order is:

  1. Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 – 1983
  2. Sister Location – (The date of this game is still very uncertain. The main theories is that it occurs at the same time as FNAF4 or in a more futuristic location)
  3. Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 – 1987
  4. Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Silver Eyes – 1995
  5. Five Nights at Freddy’s
  6. Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 +

the CORRECT order is this:

  • 1979/81 (unsure of exact date) Henry and William Afton co-own Fredbear’s Family Diner together. Fredbear’s Diner child (Silver Eyes protagonist Charlie’s three-ish year old twin named Sammy in the books) is killed or kidnapped by William Afton (and presumably adopted as his youngest son in my personal timeline). Fredbear’s closes and Henry, with his daughter Charlie, move to the nearby town and open the first Freddy’s.
  • Fnaf 4/SL (between ’83 and ’85) “Sammy” (FNAF 4 crying child) is about to have his birthday at the sister location to Henry’s Freddy’s Pizza (I will call it Fredbear’s for now) and the older brother (possibly Michael Afton or a brother younger than him) shoves “Sammy” into the Fredbear and is injured. Afton promises to rebuild him and he eventually becomes the Puppet. He also “tests” the child with the Nightmare Animatronics in the underground facility seen in Sister Location. Baby at another restaurant Afton Robotics has connections to “scoops” Afton’s young daughter (presumably pig-tailed girl with Springtrap toy from FNAF 4) likely killing her. he sends his oldest son Michael to the underground facility to investigate, but he is possessed by Ennard wearing him like a suit. Michael lives out his life for a while but soon coughs up Babys parts into the sewers since Ennard “no longer can be controlled by her”. (she then presumably takes over William Afton similar to what happened to Michael Afton since that was their original target and now they are both the “Gollums” of society).
  • Summer 1985. William Afton uses Fredbear/”Springtrap” suits to murder 5 kids at Henry’s restaurant, including Charlie’s friend Michael who becomes Golden Freddy when the Puppet/”Sammy” gives them life. (not Michael Afton). Restaurant eventually closes and Henry commits suicide by Animatronic. Charlie moves out of town.
  • FNAF 2 presumably new company called Fazbear Entertainment reopens Freddy’s at a new location (presumably another town or city since novel characters never mention other locations). Bite of ’87 causes problems for the company and the toy animatronics are scrapped by year end. restaurant either reopens Henry’s location but gets barely any customers, or is opened at a completely different smaller budget location. -FNAF 1 (presumably 1993) Mike Schmidt (possibly one of the Aftons) works at the location after Phone Guy is killed by an animatronic or Afton in Springtrap suit. Afton (not sure which, possibly William) destroys the four main animatronics after the restaurant is closed, but ends up stuck or injured in the Springtrap costume. (He might have survived and been able to take the costume off. the books say he had scars from a past springlock failure. possibly the FNAF 3 mini-game event.) Afton possibly takes the dismantled animatronics back to Henry’s location and probably rebuilds them.
  • Silver Eyes novel in summer 1995 and The Twisted Ones one year later William Afton “night guards” the abandoned building that Henry owned. He has a five-night event with Charlie and her friends that results in him permanantly stuck in Springtrap suit. sometime in the future after the events of THe Twisted Ones, he is stuck in a room in an unspecified Freddy’s location.
  • FNAF 3 “Thirty years later” People looking to make money (possibly his son Michael who is looking for him) find Springtrap/William Afton and bring him to the Horror attraction Fazbear’s Fright.

any gaps i made in this timeline you can probably fill in with what you know from the lore. the novels can STILL fit into the timeline (according to how i understand the lore).

If you truly include the chronological order of both the games, and mini-games. it would most likely go like this:

Fredbear’s diner – 1987 (mini-game shows that the kid was bitten by fred bear himself after his brother put the fnaf character heads on to scare him)

Fnaf1 – time is really unknown but this would be where five kids where killed by purple guy

Fnaf4 + Fnafsl – both events took place together, since the play area itself was under the house of the same events of fnaf4. but fnaf four my have come before fnaf1

fnaf 2 – The game would show that Mangle was created during the design of funtime foxy, this being when the facial reconization was going wrong because someone was messing with it. However, the old animatronics from fnaf 1 came in showing the breaking down process of the old gang.

Fnaf 3 – most likely the near end of fnaf but spoiler alert (possibly) things changed and Springtrap escaped, Ennerd is still a factor, meaning possible room for a 6th game and possibly revealing the real chronological order of the games.

FNAF Timeline 2022 – FULL: Everything You Need to Know about The Complete Story (Updated Theory)… this is a simplistic and evidence based Five Nights at Freddy’s Timeline, only using what we’re given in-game/within books to solve it. This video covers it all, the entire story including every single event and plot point from FNAF 1, to FNAF 2, FNAF 3, FNAF 4, FNAF Sister Location, FNAF 6, Ultimate Custom Night (UCN), FNAF AR: Special Delivery, FNAF VR: Help Wanted and FNAF: Security Breach. This is the Entire FNAF Story Explained in 15 minutes / a FNAF Story Recap! This was absolutely insane and crazy.

This is a THEORY and not confirmed in any way/shape/form. Not everything is right, not everything is wrong, some parts might be right, some parts might be wrong, we’ll never know. The Entire Timeline is simply explained in dot points at the very bottom of the description for those confused.

This is the end of the Game Timeline videos, this is the last one even if things are proved wrong or whatever (unless we litearlly get completely earth shattering bombshell information), after this I might cover the Book Timeline and explain each book connected to Stitchwraith, but this is the end of the game timeline videos, might do theories but no more timelines, I'm so done with it ahaha. THIS is the one that I want to represent the channel, not the others, I'm very happy with this one and the information given within it. Thanks to everyone for their help and advice with the order of events and a lot of discussion, appreciate it a ton ?

Also Fazbear's Fright opens next year…

Final thing I'll say about the GAME timeline: First of all I messed up the 'Kill Counter' with two 18's… but anyways I just want to say that I’ve worked with a lot of people on researching this further, and after that I even got a lot of extra opinions from the public FNAF Discord, FNAF Reddit, my Community Posts and more from the FNAF community in general. We didn’t change a single thing unless we got actual proof in order to make this hopefully as unbiased as possible. I honestly don’t get why bigger YouTubers don’t listen to the communities of the things they cover, especially when some people are using their videos as “fact”, even though things are wrong. If you’re gonna send new fans a video to get caught up, send them this video, not the last ones. Although hate wasn’t needed with my last video, I’m glad people caught my mistakes. At the end of the day I’m a FNAF Theorist aswell as any of you, that’s why I listened to you guys, and now thanks to that here’s the unbiased timeline, simply explained, with evidence, proof and everything I can give, all with major input from the FNAF community itself. Enjoy and thank you all for the ongoing support while the video kept getting pushed further and further back, but seriously thank you all for everything!! :)))

How to understand the five nights at freddy's timeline

Here we are, the final part of this journey investigating how passive storytelling makes for very interesting gameplay experiences. It makes you feel like you need to know more. How did things get to where they are? What was the cause? Unlike the minimal dialogue in Submerged and Overwatch’s method of non-game media to tell their narratives, this week we’re going to be taking a look at a game that has the closest method to active storytelling. It has a script. It has voice acting. It has non-game media.

Welcome to Your New Job

Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF) is an indie point-and-click survival horror game developed by Scott Cawthorn for the PC, Android and iOS on 8 August 2014.

You find yourself sitting in a slightly dilapidated office. A poster of anthropomorphic animals can be seen with a very cartoonish “CELEBRATE!” written at the top. Fan art of these figures is up on the walls, drawn by children who happily celebrated their birthdays. But juxtaposing the happiness portrayed in these pictures are the spider-webs that have grown over time, showing neglect. Unkempt, unsafe wires hang down from the ceiling. The room is so badly lit.

The phone rings. A friendly voice is on the other end. But it’s not a phone call, it’s a recording made by your predecessor. He gives you advice. He tells you what your job entails. You’re a night security guard officer. The animals on the poster are animatronics. You’re at a fast-food outlet called Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Your job is to make sure everything is safe and sound throughout the night. 12am to 6pm. Sounds easy enough.

But wait, the animatronics move? There’s a chance that you might be mistaken by their programming as another animatronic? Complications might arise?

Welcome to your new job.

Phone Guy’s Phone Calls

The main method of storytelling that FNAF uses is Phone Guy’s Phone Calls. The phone calls are short, sweet and, at times, creepy. You don’t find out much about the Phone Guy himself. You don’t find out much about anything really: he just gives you tips to help you survive the night. Because during the day, the animatronics might be safe and sweet for children, but at night, they’re anything but.

With each phone call ending up shorter than the last, by Night 4 there’s no doubt that there’s something seriously wrong—with everything. With the animatronics, with Phone Guy, with the whole establishment.

Cawthorn meticulously wrote the script in this game (and every game in the series where Phone Guy appears) in order to deliver an unnerving sense of danger to the player. With the simple point-and-click nature of the gameplay, this makes the player feel useless to the whims of the antagonists of the game, the animatronics.

GIF of Golden Freddy attacking the player.

What is Happening?

As you progress through the nights (including the elusive sixth, seventh, and Custom Night), more and more things arise eliciting more questions than answers. The posters randomly switch to a very dark news report about children going missing. Pictures of a crying figure replace the celebratory, child-drawn ones. Sightings of a “Shadow Freddy” and “Golden Freddy” appear, without much explanation.

All of this simply adds to the tension.

By omitting massive amounts of information, Cawthorn has allowed for so much mystery to be present in the original game. And it is that mystery that brings players back again and again to the series, in the hopes of finding out what happened in the FNAF universe.

Following the release of the first game, hundreds if not thousands of posts were made on gaming forums, Reddit and even the official FNAF wiki. Thousands of FNAF fans joined heated discussions about the lore. They were driven to find out what they could from discoveries made by others and debated about every single thing, from Chica’s second, smaller set of teeth in the animatronic’s mouth, to why there is even a fan on the desk in the office.

Yes. Even the unmovable, non-interactive electric fan on the desk has undergone intense scrutiny.

Convoluted = Bad Storytelling

Even though this article is mostly about the first game in the main series of FNAF, this applies to the series in general (even the spinoff, FNAF World).

FNAF is an example of when passive storytelling is both excellent and shocking. How is this possible? Passive storytelling excels at giving players a sense of mystery and intrigue. You want to find out more! You feel the need discover all you can. FNAF has that intrigue, that mystery. As the forum posts show, many people felt the need to learn more about the lore. Cawthorn’s use of omission to create FNAF’s storyline is inspired.

Until you take into account what he did in the other games.

With each game released, Cawthorn provided more and more questions about the whole timeline of FNAF’s story, and players rarely received, if any, long-awaited answers to the series’s biggest questions.

In fact, with more and more entries in the series, it seems many more contradictions can be found in the timeline than canon discoveries. And that is where FNAF falls short. Really short.

A Teaser Image for FNAF: Sister Location. Click here for the latest teaser image.

The Completion Principle

But why do players keep coming back for more if FNAF executed its storytelling badly? MatPat from The Game Theorists explained this phenomenon amazingly. By using the Completion Principle against players, Cawthorn provides enough lore to whet your appetite, then leaves a lot more things unanswered. With the conflicting nature of the plot points revealed, Cawthorn has managed to ensure that players are still talking about the series, two years and five games later (the spinoff, FNAF World included).

And with the fifth installment in the main series, Sister Location, coming out sometime in the near future, players have yet to experience a clear-cut and understandable timeline, where all the pieces of information Cawthorn has already given players all fit together. Whether Cawthorn’s method of passive storytelling, the mystery and lore contradictions, will come through in the next installment of the series is yet to be seen, but one thing’s for certain: People will be talking about the game.

Well, that sure was a year, huh? I must say, I did not anticipate such a traffic boost at the end, but with Security breach releasing, perhaps I should not have been so surprised.

We have updated to use Cloudflare. Please bear with the site, you may see some graphical errors here and there. It should pass rather quickly.

I’ve decided, I’m just going to do the whole site all over again. Top to bottom. I’ll keep the content, but the theme is now convoluted and ridiculous. I can’t work with it.

I have the dump for Security Breach, and will be posting the relevant snippets to the site. I also plan to diversify videos posted here. I shall be switching to Bitchute by default, but will allow you to switch to YouTube.

I want to really freshen the sheets around here, try to get things cleaned up properly. I can’t be bothered with Freddit, they can do whatever they want, I have long since passed caring about them. I’ll just try to cultivate the FNaFLore community properly.

We’ve also had a lot of changes on the Discord. our bots got upgraded, and our warning system, renewed. Hopefully, the first renewal of many.

Security Breach? ugh, it’s a pain. How can one tease so much connecting lore, but deliver nothing but new story? It baffles me why they didn’t use a single god-damn lore bag to elaborate on past lore. But, such is life. I have come to anticipate such disappointments from FNaF. But, in case anyone cares for a bunch of tapes that basically just tell you “Vanny be cray-cray”, I’ll upload them regardless.

Keep safe, and have a happy New Year. We’re out of the woods into 2022, but I suspect we’re just at the eye of a storm. If you’d like a refuge from the madness, please, do join us on our Discord. We’re always happy to help

The following is a very long text post that details what I believe to be the TRUE story of FNAF. Knowing how I and many others felt about the book, I would take this timeline to be a better version of the story than what was given to us. I feel like it is a more appropriate retelling of the lore with a bunch of culminated ideas thrown in. I really feel like Scott intended the Dream theory (if you don’t know what I mean by this, you are in the wrong fandom), but a timeline-based theory set in reality just seems more satisfying. I’m not a strict timeline theorist by any means, though. I really do think the Dream theory has a lot of merit behind it and it is a very nice way to tie up the lore with a pretty red bow, but it just isn’t cohesive enough for me to really believe it. Again, I hope this is something that we can agree on. I feel like it sums things up in a way that explains enough of the story and provides a nice narrative that links together all of the little theories and tidbits of information given to us over the past year and a half. I subscribe to the idea that there are multiple versions of the same canon, and this is just my take on the story.

DISCLAIMERS:
+Many of these dates are speculated. Nobody but Scott knows exactly when or what things happened.
+This is just my THEORETICAL timeline. I’m not saying it’s at all perfect and I know some things, like Mangle in the bedroom, aren’t explained by my theory (although I do believe her presence in the more girly bedroom represents a SISTER location, not a literal presence).
+I also assume that the Phone Guy and the Purple Guy are the same person. The evidence is too insurmountable for me to just ignore it.
+I may change some of these events if I need to, as more evidence provides itself
+My friend Britt helped me out A LOT in making this timeline.

TL;DR: I’m a huge nerd and here’s my theory:

1982 – Fredbear’s Family Diner opens
1983 – Fredbear and Friends TV Show premieres
1985 – Toy Animatronics created based on the success of the TV series and so is the “sister location” known as Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is opened
1986 – “Crying Child” murdered by Purple Guy outside Freddy’s and becomes the Puppet, PG begins hallucinating the Puppet out of guilt, but it is very sparse

  • Around this time, Purple Guy tampers with the spring lock animatronics to get back at the company for either firing him or demoting him (assuming he is the Phone Guy, in which case he becomes a night guard after being some kind of manager – in FNAF 4, he is seen helping an employee into a suit)

1987 (Summer) – “Bite of ‘87” closes Fredbear’s and “sister location” (the FNAF 2 location)

  • Bite of ‘87 – Fredbear “bites” the child who then becomes Golden Freddy( ᵃ )
  • PG begins hallucinating Fredbear because of the guilt from indirectly causing the child’s death
    • He feels remorse for this death because it was not intentional

1987 (Fall) – Freddy’s reopens (FNAF 2), but closes a week later because the animatronic malfunction

    • PG has tampered with the Toy animatronic software in a desperate attempt to protect himself from what he sees, causing glitches that inevitably get them scrapped

1992 – Freddy’s animatronics completely redesigned, final Pizzeria
1993 – Freddy’s closes permanently due to “smell/oozing”( * ) and the obvious bad reputation

    • PG is haunted by the hallucinations of the kid’s spirits, trapped in the back room due to fear of his past.
    • He “holds out”( ᵈ ) in the back room until the hallucinations get so bad that he first tries to dismantle the animatronics.
    • When that fails, he begins seeing the souls of his victims and feels such a violent fear that he hides in the Spring Bonnie suit, which fails, and he is killed

2023 – Fazbear’s Fright opens but is burned to the ground after a short time

    • The Puppet finally puts an end to the legacy of the Purple Man by setting the attraction ablaze

    FOOTNOTES:

( ᵃ ) He cannot possess the Fredbear suit because it is quickly dismantled and scrapped due to the unsafe condition of the spring locks (detailed by Phone Guy in FNAF 3)

( ᵇ ) I am proposing here that MatPat’s theory that the crying child cannot be the protagonist of FNAF 4 due to his lack of fear caused by his injury is true. Instead, the protagonist is the Purple Guy whose nightmares have put him in the place of a child, stricken with fear of the place he or she was killed. The minigames still tell the story of the child who is bitten during the Bite of ‘87, but the actual nightly gameplay is from the view of the PG’s dre

( * ) The bodies were never removed from the suits, so when the “original characters” are re-purposed for use in FNAF 1, the smell sticks.

( ᵈ ) In FNAF 1, Phone Guy says, “Maybe sometime, uh, you could check inside those suits in the back room? I’m gonna to try to hold out until someone checks. Maybe it won’t be so bad.”

    DISCLAIMERS (again):
+Many of these dates are speculated. Nobody but Scott knows exactly when or what things happened.
+This is just my THEORETICAL timeline. I’m not saying it’s at all perfect and I know some things, like Mangle in the bedroom, aren’t explained by my theory (although I do believe her presence in the more girly bedroom represents a SISTER location, not a literal presence).
+I also assume that the Phone Guy and the Purple Guy are the same person. The evidence is too insurmountable for me to just ignore it.
+I may change some of these events if I need to, as more evidence provides itself
+My friend Britt helped me out A LOT in making this timeline.

hello everyone, The Inquisitor is here again. And today I gonna explain a FNaF timeline and appearance of Nightmare Foxy by 8-Bit Gaming.

    So let’s jump right now.

Fredbear Family Diner – Grand opening in 1983 In minigames we see Child and his brother who hated him. We of course don’t know why he did. So fact is that FFD was opened in 1983 becouse in fact we can see on TV, show about Fredbear and Friends. And second fact is that 1983 and Freddy Fazbear’s pizza somehow connected. And it closed down becouse of bite of 87′. And they had two designed suits that is Golden Freddy/Fredbear, and SpringTrap.
That leads of course to theory that older animaltronic from Parts/Service room was a used animaltronics at Fredbear’s Family Diner

Fredbear’s Family Diner – closed down in 1985 possibly
A possible speculation is a bite of 87′, however you will ask me why is that heppened in 1985, well I believe it’s becouse diner was opened at 1983, and show could be old with numbers of opening means it was closed down in 1985, and of course it was re-opened in 1987

    Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza 1983 – Old location
Seems to work with Fredbear’s Family Diner that means Fabzear Entertainment also owned Fredbear’s restaurant. However there could be 4 restaurants said by Smike but I disbelieve this theory.

    Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza – Grand re-opening 1987
Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza was soon re-opened at summer (that examples why Phone Guy sais Summer job), and of course it wasn’t closed down few days after Jeremy hired in, paycheck syas "November twelve" this means he was hired in November 5. And Jeremy wasn’t a vctim of a bite of 87′.

Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza – Closed down, scrapped 1989
Pizzaria closes down as someone used one of a suits, and I actually still don’t understand what Scott tried to say, but after night 7 Phone Guy was fired and that means he could be alive as he no longer was employee of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Of course Toy animalrtronics Left for scrap where they not returned in FNaF 1 and 3
And of course the son of Purple Guy dies and premusably becomes The Puppet.

    FFP – Grand opening 1990
They was re-opened again. And I believe it was at 1990 as it closed down in 1993. The pizzaria don’t had many money, and place is possibly that old location, they just tried to fix it but the power generation bad worked at night.
And of course older animaltronics was premusably fixed, The puppet is actually secretly present in this game. As on night 4 in cutsence he follows Freddy Fazbear.
Of course it soon closed down that leads to new atraction.

Fazbear’s Fright The Horror Atraction – Date unknwon.
This atraction is very strange. And of course we know that FNaF 4 is prequel, so what is FNaF 3, well it possibly epilogue as we can see The puppet remains and gives lfie to SpringTrap, there are two springlocks found and I speculate that second is Golden Freddy at all, and at least so left parts from animaltronics, there was of course a very dangerous things that place is haunted, there are ghosts walking around and a lot of hallucinations of burnt animaltronics.
After night shift 6, Fright burns to dust for unknown reasons. Probably someone burnt that pizzaria. Well last thing we need to know is that it’s not over yet as the bad ending is the true ending. But most important is that. that there won’t be FNaF 5, and how it’s gonna end. I believe possibly there will be another game by Scott with same background but another name maybe like
"Last Nights at Freddy’s" or something like that.
Well there was a full timeline about FNaF, hope you enjoyed here.

    Ratings and Reviews

Great game! Needs some work tho

This game is absolutely amazing! I downloaded it the day it came out, and I still play it almost every day. The models are amazing, it’s challenging and fun at the same time, and with new skins/characters every week, the game is never low on content. However, there are a couple bugs and things that are kind of annoying. 1: sometimes when I load up the game, it’ll get stuck at 85%. I usually just have to wait 30 seconds and it’ll resume, but it is kinda time consuming. 2: I don’t get why the packs in this game are so expensive. It’s like saying that if a pay 42$ ( yes, that’s the in-game price for the toy chica pack) then I get to look at toy chica, and fight her three times. I get that since this a mobile game, there will be in-app purchases, but these are just not worth it. I recommend completing the daily challenges to get lures, and who knows, maybe you’ll get toy chica for free. That’s how I do it! And finally 3: the lack of characters. I get that it’s hard to make up mechanics, and model things, and I just said how this game was never dry on content, but there comes a point where people aren’t gonna want to fight the same character Over and over, with the only difference being that they look different. The last character to come out was golden freddy, and he was cool and all, but he came out in December! Hopefully the new DLC gives us new characters. If so, I’ll change this to five stars?

OK overall it’s a great game and bugs solved

OK now what I need to say the game is been better since the time that I first started playing I’ll get all the critics away and a good five stars OK and there’s something like a bug that doesn’t let me use like the game for some weird reason I was using the game regularly and then it says like I need to access the camera to just to play so I was looking to find a way to fix it I needed to delete the game and it and then download it again I don’t know what happened but it’s actually weird that happened because when I go to settings do you know like restore right I was looking for ways to fix the bug but when I go to settings so I need to put the cameras settings right on but when I go to search the settings and I pressed It didn’t say anything about the camera so that’s kind of a bug so I just want you guys to fix it five stars and the glitch that I was talking about you know the faz coin glitch OK I am since the last update it have been better like I didn’t have that glitch anymore so I got five stars thank you oh yeah and a percentage of getting the animatronics yeah I think you need to do you know put more percentage because I I put my effort on beat that animatronic and you just didn’t give me my reward just give me like three I don’t know what’s the name and just gonna call them Coins you just give me like three coins so I don’t like it but in the overall for me five star because you fixed almost bugs so thank you

    skins/store glitch/acc

i think it’s really great the game has so much stuff and it’s so different but in the store when you watch the vid for faz-coins everything turns white and it all glitches out whenever you scroll up and down also like for whenever somebody deletes the game everything is meant to be synced to your account but for me i had to start all over again and it succeed i had system error toy bonnie c.b and even toxic springtrap i just shut down for a week and youtube’s showcase animatronics that haven’t even been introduced to the game such as the fnaf 2 broken animatronics(i’m not gonna cal them by their real names because it just hashtags it) plus it brink that you should be able to give stuff to others like faz-coins cpu’s if you get extra and maybe even plush suits also i feel like you guys should bring back/introduce golden freddy WHITH HIS OWN ANIMATIONS apps don’t take freddy’s animations and give them to him and you guys should introduce shadow freddy as well and this just turned into and idea complaint anyways you guys should also put event/sea so all characters in the right place like with clockwork ballora for some reason there’s broiler baby? that just doesn’t make any sense i understand that it’s summer but come on MAKE SOME SENSE PEOPLE sorry i yelled hope this makes some sense and will give this game some FRICKEN LOGICISTICS anyways pls take at least some of this into consideration and i hope i helped out some others!

When it comes to horror movie icons, Leatherface might be head (or face) and shoulders above the rest. What makes him stand apart from the likes of Freddy, Jason, Chucky, and other slashers is the fact that he’s just a human being. Nothing supernatural here — unless you count the startling amount of times he’s been rebooted, or how tangled the timeline of his mayhem has become. But now that the big boy has released yet another sequel into the world, it’s time to look back at the two main entries in the franchise — and apologies to those who hold the bonkers 1986 sequel near and dear to their hearts. I’m talking about the one that started it all, Tobe Hooper’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), which featured a handful of unknown actors and was produced on a shoe-string budget. Upon its release, it made a killing at the box office and launched a franchise that includes the 2003 Michael Bay-produced remake The Texas Chainsaw Massacre starring Jessica Biel. The remake is still a nasty piece of work, even it’s if more polished than the original. But which of these films will survive and what will be left of them? Only one way to find out: FACE OFF!

This episode of Face Off, Original vs Remake edition is written by Eric Walkuski, narrated by Shawn Knippelberg, and edited by Lance Vlcek. Let us know in the comments which you prefer – the original The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) or its 2003 remake! Watch previous episodes below!

Trent breaks out of a recent slump with a 42-point effort to lead the Raptors past the NBA’s best team.

PHOENIX, Ariz.—Put the time of death just before 8 p.m. Mountain Time here Friday night, the moment when Gary Trent Jr. dispatched a shooting slump that has dogged him for more than a week.

The end came suddenly and almost out of nowhere: one made three-pointer then another and then one more, all part of a 13-point second quarter that announced the Raptors shooter is back.

Trent finished with eight three-pointers and 42 points — the most he has had in a game since Feb. 10 — as the Raptors pulled out an impressive 117-112 win over the Phoenix Suns.

Turning three straight steals into baskets in the final two minutes, the Raptors got a win over the only 50-win team in the league this season to go to 2-1 on a road trip that continues Saturday in Denver.

“It really doesn’t matter who we play, we’ve got to go play and we’ve got to play well,” coach Nick Nurse said. “And if we do, we’re going to have a chance on any night. That’s about it.”

Trent sealed the deal with four made foul shots in the final 20 seconds.

“He had some better looks tonight but he also got into his ‘didn’t really matter if they were great looks or not’ situation,” Nurse said. “Creating some space, making some covered shots … We were having a tough time finding buckets (in the fourth quarter) and he hit a couple of big ones.

It was a delightful game — reminiscent of the first between the teams this season — and it was full of momentum swings. The Raptors had a 12-point lead heading into the fourth quarter but saw it disappear in the first seven minutes. Each team was assessed a Flagrant 1 foul for excessive contact. And there was an intensity to the night that is not normally seen in a mid-March regular-season game.

Five Suns starters scored in double figures and Pascal Siakam added 25 points and 10 assists for the Raptors.

How to understand the five nights at freddy's timeline

“(We) had a long stretch where things were pretty tough (and the players) didn’t crumble and cave in,” Nurse said. “I thought Freddy (VanVleet) did a great job of settling (them down), telling everybody to keep playing and relax out there.”

Toronto’s victory came on the second anniversary of the NBA shutting down operations due to COVID-19, robbing the Raptors of what might have been an extended run had the 2019-20 season not been shuttered for months and finished in an Orlando bubble.

“I know you’re not supposed to have regrets, but we were fresh off an NBA title and had the best record in the league when all that happened,” Nurse said before the game. “We were absolutely rolling.”

It has been a tumultuous time since — the Orlando bubble, the season in Tampa, a chunk of this season in an empty home arena. “Give everybody credit for hanging in,” Nurse said. “I think, for the most part, we have been competitive and continued to develop our players.”

The Raptors are still working through where and how the shots will be distributed between the three bigs they have coming off the bench but they looked far more comfortable for most of Friday. They don’t need Chris Boucher, Precious Achiuwa and Thad Young to load up on the same night but getting a little from each will be huge in the final 16 games of the season.

But it is still a work in progress to get good shots for them.

“Some nights we are,” Nurse said. “I would say some nights you would say, with the size advantage, we’re getting the offensive putbacks and things seem to keep ticking over pretty good. Then there are nights we don’t get many looks at the three or make enough or keep pace out there.”

Achiuwa finished with 11 points and was central to a strong finish to the third quarter for the Raptors. He was hammered to the floor by Devin Booker while trying to finish a fast-break layup, a play that earned Booker a Flagrant 1 foul. Achiuwa made two free throws and the Raptors turned the extra possession into a VanVleet three-pointer.
